Reiki has become more widely accepted as a holistic treatment for humans, but are you aware that it is also an amazing modality for the animal kingdom? Your beloved pets can benefit greatly from this type of healing. It may be particularly helpful with newly adopted animals and those adapting to changes in the home, but is certainly not limited to those situations.

But what is it? Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing technique that uses life force energy to heal the whole body by balancing the subtle energies. Reiki addresses physical, emotional, mental and spiritual imbalances in animals as well as people. Because energy is not bound by physical limitations, I can provide Reiki healing to any person or animal, no matter their physical location or distance. The benefits of Reiki therapy begin during the session and continue after the session is complete. Many positive changes from Reiki are permanent, though long-term issues may require subsequent sessions.

I have worked successfully with animals ranging in size from a 7-pound cat to a 2,400-pound bull — and many in between. Distance healing is equally effective as in-person, and Reiki sessions for pets are now done remotely. You may choose to have your pet sit quietly with you during the scheduled time, but it is not necessary. The energy will find and heal regardless!

Sessions should be booked using the pet’s name. Please use the NOTES section during booking to provide details regarding type of animal and reason for the session. Booking the session serves as your consent for Reiki to be provided to your pet.
